A few practical steps to take your instructions from a blank page to a published guide.

Create your manual
Open your workspace and choose New manual. Add a clear title, then start your first topic.
Write and organize
Use the formatting toolbar for headings, lists, links, and tables. Upload media, then insert it into a topic. Drag topics to change their order, or choose a parent topic to nest them.
Save and review
Your changes autosave. Revision history lets you compare earlier drafts and restore a revision as a new save. If another author changes a topic, your local draft stays available for review.
Publish for readers
Choose Publish in the editor. Publishing creates a release; later edits stay in your draft until you publish again. Choose public or private reader access in the publish dialog. Search engine indexing is a separate choice and starts disabled.
Versions and translations
On the paid plan, duplicate an edition into a new product version or language. Export a translation file, edit its topics, and preview it before importing. Changed source topics appear in translation status.
PDFs and backups
Publish a release, then choose Generate PDF. Backup & restore downloads a ZIP with your topics, revisions, and uploaded media. Restoring creates a new draft manual. Large PDFs are organized into volumes.
Manage your plan
Your account menu opens secure billing. The paid plan includes ten manuals, five authors including the owner, and 2 GB of uploaded media. If it ends, your work and reader access stay available; choose one manual for free editing.
